County Administration
Richard E. Huff, II serves as Chief Administative Officer charged with recommending and carrying out the policies established by the Franklin County Board of Supervisors through leadership of the County's operating departments. Develops, recommends, and administers $116,000,000 budget and oversees Capital Projects Development. Economic Development is a major focus of the position in recruiting and assisting in the expansion of business and industry.
Mr. Huff previously served as County Administrator in Pittsylvania County, Deputy County Executive in Albemarle County and also served Franklin County in the 1980s and early 1990s in the capacity of Assistant County Administrator and as County Administrator.
He received a Bachelor of Science in Business from VPI & SU in Blacksburg and his Masters of Administration from Lynchburg College.
