How do I Obtain a Business License?
A Business License is not required in Franklin County, with the exception of peddlers, dance halls, amusement operators, automobile graveyards and any businesses located within the Town limits of Rocky Mount. These licenses may be obtained at the Administration Office located at 40 East Court Street, Rocky Mount, VA 24151 except for the amusement operators license which can be obtained in the Commissioner of Revenue's office located in the Franklin County Courthouse at 275 South Main Street, Suite 106, Rocky Mount, VA.
