County vehicle decals are purchased at the Treasurer’s Office located in the Franklin County Courthouse at 275 South Main Street, Suite 232, Rocky Mount, VA 24151. To purchase a decal you need to bring the notice you received in the mail from the Treasurer’s office or a copy of your registration card from DMV. The cost of the decal is $25.00 through September of each year and prorated after September. County decals expire April 15^th of each year. Decals may be transferred from one vehicle to another as long as you keep the same state license tag. If new tags are purchased, you can bring your decal to the Treasurer’s office along with the registration card for the new vehicle and you will be issued a transfer for $1.00.

 

Town vehicle decals may be purchased at the Rocky Mount Municipal Building, 345 Donald Avenue, Rocky Mount, VA  24151. The cost is $15.00 and is due by March 31^st.
