How do I find a Rescue Squad or Fire Department in my Community?

To view maps in GIS, go to http://arcims.webgis.net/va/franklin/

Click on “Enter Mapping Site” under Available Sites

Click on “Community” under layers

Click in the boxes beside “Community Facilities”

This brings up a map of all rescue and fire departments in the county. You can draw a window on the map to zoom in to the area you are interested in.

You may also go to the Public Safety Web Page and under “Working to Serve our Citizens and Community” is a link for Fire and Rescue Facilities Map.

There is also a Fire Companies link on the left hand side of the Public Safety Web Page.
