The National Guard Armory seeks Custodian for the care and cleaning of the National Guard Armory Building in Rocky Mount, Virginia
Franklin County is working with the Rocky Mount National Guard Armory to recruit a custodian. This is a State position and the successful candidate will perform responsible custodial work engaged in the care and cleaning of the National Guard Armory building in Rocky Mount, Va. These duties include, but are not limited to regular custodial functions such as: sweeping; vacuuming; floor stripping; waxing; mopping and buffing floors; trash removal and cleaning fixtures. In addition, this person will be responsible for mowing grass around buildings; performing minor electrical and plumbing work and preparing cleaning materials, supplies and equipment needed for the job. Performs set-up and take-down duties for events and functions and performs other duties as may be assigned. Responsible for reporting to Supervisor or designee, any needed repairs beyond the capabilities of a custodial worker.
