SML Community Park
The Smith Mountain Lake Community Park opened in 2007. At this park you will find a fishing pier, picnic shelter, playground, trails and community beach. The park also has a trail totaling 3 miles of pleasant lake and wooded view hiking. Entry and exit points are scattered throughout the park, with signs identifying each.

In an effort to maintain a safe environment and enjoyable experience for all SML Community Park Beach users, we ask that you follow lifeguard instructions at all times. Coolers, glass bottles and pets are not permitted onto the beach.Also, please avoid having soiled diapers in the water, feeding ducks/geese and pulling, sitting and/or swimming past buoys and ropes.

State Route 122 (Booker T. Washington Hwy) to West Lake Corner
Turn right onto St. Route 616 (Scruggs Rd)
Travel 4.7 miles and turn left on to Blue Water Dr.
Go 1.1 miles and turn right on Saunders Farm Rd.
Go .4 miles to stop sign and turn right on to Winding Waters Dr.
Travel another .4 mile, turn left on Parkway Ave.
Park is located at the cul-de-sac at end of road (1 mile)
