Who We Need

Firefighters

These are the front line personnel who actively make entry and fight fire.
You MUST be at least 16 years of age for this position.

Truck DriversResponsible for driving the trucks safely to & from the scene of an emergency and operate the pump(if needed)
Water SupplySets up water supply either on scene or at a remote filling site during water shuttle operations.
Traffic ControlCoordinates the safe and efficient flow of traffic (including general public, emergency equipment, and responding members vehicles) on and around the emergency scene.
Fireground SupportAssist in fireground operations with tasks such as setting up generators, lighting, changing SCBA bottles, and other operational tasks.
Fireground Rehab (Food & Water)Assist with firefighter rehabilitation during extended operations or operations in severe environmental extremes. Tasks include serving food & water, setting up shelters, providing heating or cooling, or other tasks as conditions dictate.
Vehicle & Equipment MaintenanceAssist in performing day to day operational checks and routine equipment maintenance. Anything from washing trucks to making sure power tools are fueled and operable.
Building & Grounds MaintenanceAssist with regular building upkeep as well as any special construction and beautification projects.
Auxiliary MembersThe Auxiliary has traditionally filled many of the roles listed on this page. We are now opening up our membership to those who may wish to only perform in one specific area. If you feel that you would like to contribute in more than one area, the Auxiliary is looking for you.
Fund raisingAlthough we do receive funds from the county from your tax monies, we are not 100% funded by the county and as such we rely heavily on donations and fund raisers to help meet expenses. Fund raisers require a great amount of time & planning to execute and your assistance is always appreciated.
