How to Help
WE NEED YOU TO HELP US NOW!
The Ferrum Volunteer Fire Department was organized in 1958 to serve the community of Ferrum and has continued the service all these years with the help of many people. At the present time, we are looking for more volunteers to come forward to help in this great community service activity. Elsewhere in this brochure is a list of areas in which we can use your help. If special training is needed for the area in which you are able to help, the Fire Department will pay for the training. What we need from you is your INTEREST, your TIME and especially we need your DEDICATION to help your community, your neighbors, your friends and perhaps even your own family in a time of great need. If you are 16 years or older, we have a place for YOU to help Ferrum! The members meet on the 3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. Come by and get to know us.
