- EFFECTIVE 09-01-12 - SNAP (formerly known as Food Stamps) will be changing its current benefit issuance schedule from a 1st of the month issuance to a staggered schedule. Three additional benefits issuance days (4th, 7th and 9th) will be added to the program's benefit issuance calendar. The benefit issuance date will be determined by the last digit of the household's ADAPT case number. This change will take place over two months to provide the least amount of impact on current recipients.
