Upcoming Workshops and Events

October 24, 2011 11 to 2 at Franklin Center: Grocery Shopping Field Trip. Youth will break up into teams to develop a grocery list for 1 person for 2 weeks.  They will bargain shop and use coupons and sale circulars to stay within a budget.  Apartment youth will get to take the groceries home with them. 

November 5, 2011 11 to 2 at Old Library: Maintaining Employment.  Youth will hear from a guest speaker and complete materials designed to increase awarenes of how to maintain employment. 

November 8, 2011 Time to Be Announced.  Hopefully taking a college tour, campus to be announced. 

November 15, 2011 10 to 3, Meet at Old Library.  Field trip to PHCC for a transfer workshop for college youth.

December 10, 2011 Time to Be Announced, at Franklin County YMCA.  Christmas Party.  Information to come. 

December 14, 2011 3:30 to 5:30 at Franklin Center: Permanency and Family Partnernship Workshop.  Youth will have to opportunity to meet with Kim Gilley from Project Life about permanency and family partnership meetings. 

December 27, 2011 10 to 1:30: Cooking at Foodies (class at Foodies is from 11 to 12:45 if meeing us there).  Youth will have the opportunity to cook by following a recipe.
