Registering to vote is a uniform procedure statewide. You must complete a Virginia Voter Registration Application or a National Voter Registration Application. Forms are accepted in person or by mail. Once your application is processed, you will be mailed a voter card which tells you where to vote on election day.
Voter registration applications are available at Voter Registration Offices in Virginia and Government Agencies in Virginia, including: Post Offices, Public Libraries, DMV, Social Services, Department of Health, Clerk of Circuit Court, High Schools, Step Agencies.
