County Administration

The County Administrator serves at the pleasure of the Board of Supervisors and is the County's Chief Administrative Officer. The County Administrator is charged with the development and implementation of all programs and policies.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and administering the County’s budget
  • Monitoring the County’s financial health
  • Providing staff support to the Board of Supervisors while overseeing the daily operations of County government
  • Serving as a liaison with regional cooperative efforts

Economic Development and job creation is a major focus of the position in recruiting and assisting in the expansion of business and industry and is implemented through integrated staff teams trained in such matters.
