The Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles is promoting ( to motorcycle riders), to WEAR YOUR GEAR. Program Manager, Steven Williams said today, “Proper gear—a helmet, eye protection, leather jacket & pants, durable gloves & proper footwear—is the most important factor for reducing injury to a motorcyclist in a crash. You're 60% more likely to survive a crash wearing a DOT-approved helmet. So gear up!”
The Office of the Sheriff encourages all cycle riders to wear ALL of your protective gear.
Let’s all arrive home safe.
