5. Street signs provide the name of the road and are the responsibility of the locality.  Any report of a damaged or missing "county" street sign can be submitted using this form. Once submitted, an order will be placed for the necessary parts and the sign taken care of in approximately 60 working days.  Please complete this form and click on SUBMIT to file your report.

   • Signs that are within the Town of Rocky Mount, please contact the Town of Rocky Mount Public Works Department.
   • Signs that indicate anything else, such as route number, stop signs, potholes, culvert/ditches, dead animal removal, roadway mowing or snow removal, etc. are managed by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).  For a more complete list of their services, view the VDOT website.
